E-REFLECTION 3

As humans, we have to keep ourselves healthy and fit to ensure our survivor in the world. But plainly eating vegetables and running in the gyms isn't good enough

Hence my father, a sports enthusiast, took us to our monthly hiking at either Hort Park or Bukit Timah to set our hearts racing and our sweat glands working. This time he took us to hike the long and gruelling hort park route towards vivocity.

As we hiked up the route towards the first checkpoint, i looked around my surroundings and i noticed that no 2 trees are simliar to each other even though every tree is green, tall and tough.
Each tree has its own history, its own past that no one knows, they braved through years of climate change and with each drastic change that were pressed onto them, they survive through it and stands all and proud, growing more incredibly strong each time.
We walked on a metal bridge which is built high up above the green forest, the metal floorings of the bridge is made up of strips of metal instead of a plain metal plate, this allows us to see whats beneath us. This showcases the entire forest from all around us, telling us to see all sides of our surroundings instead of just in one direction.

I love how the Sunlight lies perfectly on the green objects, reflecting perfectly off it green leaves, showing that it is very energetic and happy even though they don't move too much unless there is wind or a slight breeze blowing against it.
There was also some flowers which makes it more adorable and beautiful in its green surroundings.
The flowers were so small and normally people would walk pass it, this is to show that people should notice the small things in life rather than the big picture. I love that some trees has drooping branches and roots, making it look really old even though maybe it is. The air around here is extremely nice, it feel untouched by the poisonous gases outside its forest realms. we can take deep breathes cause nothing in the air can kill us.

Even the small roads in between the forests are empty, which makes me kind of relieve cause I'm sick of seeing cars on the road. The silence is absolutely precious. I also like the twining of the week branches around the strong ones, like a baby around its mother for support.

As we were walking towards the last checkpoint before reaching vivocity, we were near mount faber where the cable cars are. From the view above the busy area, It is actually really nice, breathtaking actually after climbing hills over hills, mountains over mountains. It is really windy and the scenery is really unforgettable. Its paradise where i stood and i wouldn't mind climbing it again.

This marks the end of the hike, i certainly enjoyed myself and i look forward to climbing it again with my family and hopefully the air is still the same when i come back (:
