MY JOURNEY 1!

There are so many of places in singapore that i have never been to... like the peranakan museum, 

adventure cove and etc.

Few weeks back, my parents took the entire family out for a singapore experience to somewhere that i have never dreamt i would go to. They have gotten tickets for a ride on the Singapore Flyer and the Domes in Gardens By The Bay. I have NEVER been to these places as the tickets are far too expensive for a family of 6 . It was a real treat as i always wanted to go to the newly built domes as i have heard wonderful things about them, seen pictures of my friends on social networking sites and i got jealous cause of it.

SINGAPORE FLYER

Firstly, we took the Singapore Flyer. At first i thought the view would be the same as looking down from a plane above the exact area, but how wrong was i. 

The View is extremely gorgeous and i looked around the cabin. One side of the Cabin is the skyscrapers and tall business buildings of singapore while the other is the sea and the domes of Gardens By The Bay. I particularly love this photo i took as it seems that the domes are on a separate island and beyond the 'island' is the ships and boats going to and fro from singapore.

The entire photo looks like singapore is a very green area, filled with lush flora and fauna.

Its a rare sight to see Singapore from above and beyond the pavements.

After that 30mins round the Singapore Flyer, we went to the domes at Gardens By The Bay. There was so much Artistic feel and sculptures around Gardens By The Bay. I noticed that every single sculpture are rounded instead of squarish , which is a beautiful change compared to the square buildings and furnitures we see everywhere. To me, roundness represents infinite. There will not be a end to that particular object making it feels fulfilling.

This is in the Cloud Forest Dome. I prefer this dome because of the amazing waterfall and its cold wet nature of the environment. The main attraction about this place is probably the greenery surrounding the tall wired building which is entwined with climbing vines and leaves. There are quite few flower variety in that dome but there are diverse variety of leaves. I love the dome structure as it looks like a mountain on the outside, it also makes the entire environment seem more life-like instead of it being indoors and all. The feeling in this particular dome is to show the environment in which these particular plants live in. I felt at peace and stressed free compared to being just outside of the dome. The environment of the dome made me calmer and happier. I liked one particular flower from this dome as its different from the flower dome and i have never seen it before in my life.

FLOWER DOME

I also like the Flower dome as they showcase flowers all around the world which i have never seen it before in my life or at florist shops.Flowers of all different sizes big and small grew beautifully in the huge circular dome. There were cactuses too in the same dome as the beautiful flowers. I loved the cactus as there were large cactus bigger than me and each were UNIQUE in their own ways, even though they are prickly and somehow dangerous, i still think they are as beautiful and magnificent as the flowers. No flower is alike to another, hence each are worth the pictures taken as each flower tells a different story of its origin. To me, each flower is a work of art and nobody should disrupt the peace and quiet the flowers would love to have in return for showing its beauty.

There was also a fiesta where they brought in flowers which grew primarily in Paris into the flower dome and they showcased each one go the unique beauties, allowing people to get the whiff and feel of the wonderful Paris. I really loved the Sunflowers and the bed of colourful flowers which compliment with the green Eiffel Tower. I was in paradise when i walked among the flowers, breathing in their alluring scent.

The whole journey allowed me to experience a world beyond the internet and social networking, where i can breathe fresh air and not be stressed by everyday duties. I have learnt the patterns on flowers and hopefully I'm able to blend the colours like those on the actual flowers and also the way the flora and fauna twines around the area, hopefully i am able to draw what i have seen and felt on a piece of paper. It felt really fresh out with the flowers and enjoying it in a air-conditioned environment made me love the journey more. Hopefully i get to visit it one more with my family or with my friends.
